Redeeming Plastics

Redeeming Plastics is based in Tangier, Morocco. Our mission is to inspire a shift in how people think about and handle plastic waste. We collect plastic from across the city through partnerships with schools, hotels, and local businesses. Once processed, this plastic — primarily PP and HDPE — is transformed into new, useful products using a variety of innovative methods. Building strong community connections is at the heart of what we do. We’re developing a network of collection points across Tangier while sharing our vision for a cleaner, healthier planet. Our primary focus is education: working with schools to deliver engaging programs and hands-on workshops that empower the next generation to protect their environment. At the same time, we provide practical ways for children and their families to recycle hard plastics right here in our city.
