Nigerian brick market study
This research is part of the FEASIBILITY STUDY OF A RECYCLED PLASTIC BRICKS WORKSPACE IN NIGERIA, where we investigate the possibility to install a brick making workspace in Nigeria to provide a local alternative to conventional construction material. This research topic will then fully focus on the current status of the construction industry in Nigeria. For this specific topic, we decided to partner with a local market study agency, Versa Research as they are in a better position to deliver field information.
We will try to answer the following questions :
1- What are the most common wall bricks ?
2- What materials are these bricks made of ?
3- What are the direct and indirect costs of using bricks/materials (external structure, labour, transport…) ?
4- What are the environmental costs of these materials ?
5- Which ingredients, if any, of the existing materials are imported into Nigeria ?
6- What is the size (economic) of the construction brick market in Nigeria ?
