This research topic will then fully focus on the regulation side. Construction is generally a very regulated industry in the world, and each country has its own way to deal with it. We decided to partner with a local agency specialised into certifying different types of industries locally in Nigeria : SGS Nigeria. We will try to answer the following questions : 1- What are the different construction fields falling under regulations ? 1a- Depending on the fields (housing, governmental, school, industry…) 1b- Depending on the sizes (single / multiple floors, square metres…) 1c- Depending on the location (type of ground, cities…) 2- What are the restrictions implied by these regulations ? 2a- In term of material use 2b- In term of extra structural material 3- What testing needs to be done to have these bricks certified and ready for markets ? We will update this research topic weekly with the most recent discoveries and answers ! Don’t hesitate to comment below or on Discord for additional questions you think we should answer !
