How to recycle plastic wrap packaging?
An Italian institutional entity (they help startups https://incubatori.filse.it/index.php/it/bic-genova) that has started a zero waste program for the companies they host in their buildings asked me if I can recycle their plastic wrap packaging. I know it could be PVC, I am planning to solve this with the OS Plastic Scanner. For now we will assume we are working with LDPE plastic wrap packaging type. I would like to know: 1) if there is someone that has experience in using the shredder (standard PP) to deal with LDPE films 2) There are some other methods from PP community to deal with that kind of waste? I would like to specify that is something different from plastic bags methods because here I think quantities would be too large to process for me, since I am a one man operation. I have a shredder, an Injection and an extruder, plus a little oven and a little heated press (originally for t-shirt graphics applying) Thankyou, any info is welcome!
