How did you calculate the force for shredding the plastic?
I am doing a project on designing a shredder for 3D printing waste plastic and when I did calculations for the force required to shred the plastic (in order to calculate the torque and the power needed from the motor) it seemed to be overly high, although the cutting area of the blades was only 50 mm2. I was wondering if I did the calculations the right way.shredder
