Building a greenhouse with recycled plastic sheets?
I was wondering if there is anyone in the Precious Plastic community that has used their sheetpress to make translucent plastic sheets that can be used to construct a greenhouse? What type of plastic would you recommend? We have some clear 4s and 5s, but most 2s (like milk jugs) seem too opaque. PET is clearly the most transparent plastic available. I am wondering what the hazards are if I use shredded PET in the sheetpress. Would I avoid off-gassing of phthalates if the sheetpress is at a sufficiently low temperature? Are there other factors to consider?sheetpress
